Welcome to the MPS Emerald Society
The MPS Emerald Society is the formally recognised and approved Irish Staff Association for Police Officers and Staff of the Metropolitan Police Service, London. The Society was set-up in November 2005 and has grown to be one of the largest Staff Associations in the Metropolitan Police Service.
The MPS Emerald Society represents it's members views, and that of the wider Irish Community at all levels in the Metropolitan Police Service, strategically and corporately reviewing MPS policy and procedure through the SAMURAI Group and socially through organising Social Events for the core membership.
What we do

- Provide advice and support to our member base;
- Act as a reference for cultural issues affecting front line policing;
- Represent our members views strategically and review corporate policies as an active member of the SAMURAI Group;
- Organise / Play an active role in Irish related Social Events;
